Between life and death, there is a library and within that library, the shelves go on forever. Every book provides a chance to try another life you could have lived. To see how things would be if you had made other choices… Would you have done anything differently, if you had the chance to undo your regrets.

When I read on GoodReads Books the plot of this book, I immediately got curious, as having the chance to discover how much a choice could change a life, is probably something we all would like to do. Yet, it is not a light reading or a sci-fi fantasy story with a hero that needs to save the multiverse from destruction. It delves into the consequences of depression and regrets, and you can tell it’s something the author Matt Haig experienced firsthand by the sensitivity and bitter truth behind every written word.

Anyway, as I started reading, I felt the need to compile a tailor-made playlist to underline Nora’s feelings during her journey of different selves discovery. For whoever might need it, I’ll leave it below, and I passionately recommend The Midnight Library as a Christmas gift ❤.
